Prefect Material?

For some reasons, when I subconsciously think about my son Fahyim, the first thing that visits my thick skull will be how similar his character has developed to the ones of mine. In terms of physicality factors, people say he got the same looks as I am, he got these big curls when his hair grew longer. I use to have that kind of curls when I was a tot. I saw it on those old fashioned albums my mom kept and sometimes it looks like cow shit when its smothered in sweat.

She always tell these stories to my wife about the complications she had to endure upon sending me to kindergarten. Based on her story, which may have some disputes ( hehehe!! ), the first day of kindergarten, I made her stayed with me in the class room for the whole day. If she make a move, I'll frickin break. So she end up sitting in those small stools inside the class room with all other kids. Sorry ma.

Reverting back to Fahyim, he is not as atrocious. His teacher said that he has got a bit of sensitivity issues. He takes comments personally and often made him "cembeng". I did experience it quite a lot lately. Every now and then when I ask him random questions, he might misunderstood and took it as a reprimand.

Being a 3 year old in his adventurous world, a tidy home is almost impossible. There were puzzles, books, toys, socks on the floor. He has this habit of shouting and throwing stuff while watching tele. When this happens, we put him in his naughty corner just at the side of our main door. Nowadays, a long gaze to his eyeballs will prompt him to bring himself to the naughty corner. After a few minutes he will say " I'm Sorry" and we will pick him up from the spot and ask him to promise not to do it again. He will then say "I Promise" and still do it again the next day. What the heck, its a process anyway.

Yesterday when we picked him up from school. His teacher handed me his progress report book. I passed the book to my wife and ask her to read it but before that, let me tell you a bit about Fahyim's teacher. The name's Teacher Razeeh, strict as a ballet instructor. She is all about rules, requirements and obligations. I once had this type of teacher in my primary school. Her name was Mrs Raja Ratnam, she's a typical Saree wearing Indian woman who uses tiger-ish charisma in teaching puny standard 1 pupils like me. My friend even peed himself once she start shouting. I was so afraid of her, I made myself top student . Anyway, Teacher Razeeh was not as strict as Raja Ratnam, maybe because she's dealing with toddlers and not standard 1's. I got to give it to her coz all the kids there listens to her.  My kid pays attention to her more than Stevie from Hi 5. How amazing is that? Haha.

Anyway, take a look at a snippet from his report book.
Elsa and Olaf is the "In thing" now bro! Deal with it.

When my wife read this report to me, it really made me feel awesome inside because I know we have done at least one thing right in nurturing him. Maybe he will become one of those high achievers  or maybe a school prefect? or just maybe a computer geek. Hahahaha. It doesn't really matter as long as he knows how to respect people older than him which I perceive is quite lacking in theeeez nu age kidzzz nowadayzz coz it ain't their shizznit.

P/s : To my daughter Nadhrah Nur Damia, daddy will write about you soon okayyyyyy..

U better be bro

Achievement Unlocked!

Assalamualaikum, Hello, Ola, Aloha and Sawobona to everyone who is reading this. It has been almost half a year into 2015 and I can't believe that I manage to find some minutes to spare writing in this antiquated blog. I don't expect anybody follows my blog though. Hee hee...

Well actually, yesterday my wife reminded me how I used to blog about Fahyim and why I should update it. The plain reason is,on 18th of February 2015 , God has sent me a lovely little angel weighing at 3.77kg . Diyanah delivered this beauty in Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur via normal delivery which she was longing for, badly. It took her a mere 10 hours of labour pain to endure and finally got the baby out around 9:50 am.

Although this is my second baby, but for me this is still the first time experience watching how normal deliveries being executed. I will deliberately skip the details to this but respectfully summarize that it is a TERRIFYING visuals but full of excitement. I can't tell how many decibels of pain involved through the whole process. I can see lines of veins popping out like its about to break out on the side of her forehead and neck.  Congratulations wife, you made it like a champion. I love you to the spine.

We named her NADHRAH NUR DAMIA which means " Keindahan Cahaya Kebijakan" . There was no contemplation involved in naming her as I have decided 5 months before she popped out. With Fahyim it was vice versa.  And this is DAMIA..

Kenyit mata cakap " Ahakss"

Botakhead tidurhead
Fahyim was not utterly fond when he sees us holding another baby in our arms. But he is a wise boy, he observed our gestures and started acknowledging his sister the very second day. He has been trained to mention the word "adik "  since Damia was still in the womb. Until today he does not get jealous when the mother holds the Adik but sharing toys is still a big NO-NO. I foresee great challenge ahead of me.

We celebrated the arrival of Damia and two weeks after her birthday along came ORKID MARISSA (her cousin) . These three kiddos will be the pride our genes and hopefully they will continue to be the  Solehs and Solehahs and make us all proud parents.

Damia and Orkid the two beautiful ladies but one has to diet. I don't have to say which one lah.
